Service Description

Micro movement work is rooted in medical exercise, anchored in the latest fascia research. It's created by manual and movement fascia specialists, with a deep understanding and honouring of how embryology affects our movement from conception and all the way through life. It is a way to pepper your existing exercise or movement practises to nurture and better understand your tissues. We look through the lenses of Rebound, Recoil, Release, Restore and Refine movements, giving you a deeper awareness of your movement choices and promoting longevity within them. Micro-movement is beneficial, no matter your age and stage of fitness. It is as appropriate for somebody learning to walk again, post stroke or other injury, as it is for optimising the performance of a professional athlete. Come and re-learn the movement your body inherently recognises is good, and take a deeper dive into understanding your unique fascial architecture and how your movement habits can support it. This type of movement is so subtle, it is designed to go under the radar of the body's defence system, allowing it to sense and feel, without bracing or stiffening. It can therefore not only help with injury rehabilitation, but also can be implemented as a pre-habilitative practise to prevent injury in the first place.
